Puppy Classes

A five-week course held at Blue Lake Veterinary Clinic Mount Gambier. Monday and Wednesday evenings - on demand.

Designed for pups 8-16 weeks of age, during their critical socialisation period.

Week One: Compulsory Owner Education Session runs 6-8pm, without your puppy.

Weeks Two - Five: Class One runs 6-7pm. (**Class Two runs on demand 7.10-8.10pm.)

Class Includes: Digital Puppy Manual, Short Video Course, Clicker.

Cost: $210.00 per puppy.

This is a seated class and topics include:

• Understanding Your Puppy

• Dog Body Language, including the “Traffic Light” system.

• Puppy Play

• Puppy Socialisation

• Setting your puppy up for success

• How animals learn & how we train using modern science-based training methods. We teach sit, down, eye contact, collar grabs, rest quietly on mat.

• Object exchanges

• Leave items including food

• Puppy handling, grooming & preparing for vet visits

• Kids & dogs

• Troubleshooting including topics biting, jumping, digging & toilet training. Bring your questions along for the owner education session

• Health care
